Happy Halloween! I hope you and yours are enjoying a safe and happy Halloween season. I have a special treat for you today! Halloween Special Pumpkin Chex Mix a quick, easy and crunchy Chex Mix.

Prep Time: 10 minutes Cook Time: 10 Minutes Total Time: 20 minutes

Yield: 16

Ingredients:

• 1/4 c. brown sugar.
• 1 Tbsp pumpkin pie spice.
• 1/4 c. butter.
• 2 tsp vanilla.
• 2 c. Cinnamon Chex™ cereal.
• 2 c. Wheat Chex™ cereal.
• 2 c. Honey Nut Chex™ cereal.
• 8 oz pecans.

Directions:

1. In small bowl, mix brown sugar and pumpkin pie spice.
2. In small microwave-safe dish, microwave butter on High about 30 seconds or until melted, Stir in vanilla.
3. In large microwavable bowl, mix all cereals and pecans. Pour butter mixture over cereal mixture, stirring until evenly distributed. Add sugar and spice mixture and stir until coated.
4. Microwave uncovered on High 5 minutes or until mixture begins to brown, stirring every minute. Spread on wax paper or a cookie sheet to cool. Store in airtight container.
